Anyone ever done a group/corporate track day? Seeing as we have quite a few motor heads in our IT department i thought for our next "team building day" to move away from Go-karts to something better!

I would avoid those ones you get to drive all different kinds of cars, not heard many good things and cars tend to be restricted.

I've done a few but best was definitely CAT Driver Training Day, wasn't cheap but really good stuff and great fun in the Caterham at the end.

If you've got good cars yourselves then you could always do a track day in them. Castle Combe is a nice track and there's plenty of others.

This is true for pretty much every 'experience' day.

The exception being the Palmer days, but then getting full control of the cars comes at a price. There was an OcUK organised one recently that looked epic, but you are looking at many hundreds of pounds per person.

If your budget doesn't stretch that far then I would just stick with karting.
