Just ordered an Ibérico ham through Groupon. £60 for a 4kg ham, a stand, knife, 500ml olive oil and a DVD - 67% off. Looking forward to tucking into that when I get home from Egypt.

Bit of a bugger to get into - the skin is really tough. By god it's worth it though. Very, very tasty

I don't know how I'm going to resist having a slice or two every time I walk past it

I will admit to being a bit disappointed by the stand as well - it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. It's still perfectly fine though and it's still a hell of a bargain. If I'd paid full price, I'd have had a whinge to them but, at 1/3 of the RRP, I'll settle for what I've got.

Mould isn't a problem on these hams. My Iberico ham gets mouldy all the time; I just give it a wipe with a damp cloth and then rub a little olive oil into it to slow down the growth of more mould.

It's good to add a little vinegar/water solution to your cloth when you wipe. It will help even more.
