Grow your own.....

I have a small selection of potted herbs, in need of some TLC at the moment. I'll post some pics tomorrow once I've tidied them up.

Sorry no pictures but this year we grew,

tomatoes (still getting them too)
lots of different types of salad,(got lots of that, and still more growing)
Red onions (****ing delicious amazingly good)
Parsnips
baby bite peppers (just stuck some seeds from some i got out of a pack of peepers from tescoes) got loads of them from them, at least 8-10 packs worth of peppers :D they taste so sweet and delicious i'd recommend buying them even fi you don't intend on growing them the shop bought ones are tasty as hell.

Garlic -lovely
spring onions -shed loads really tasty

watercress - very spicy much more so than shop bought
full range of herbs +chives

parsley -came good still got lots fresh and frozen
coriander - only reason i grow this is to make platypus's salmon recipe he posted on here which is still the nicest way to cook salmon fillets I've ever tasted :) (got 3 plants f it, just to show how much i love that recipe :D)

as for tips if you grow tomatoes (or anything) plant a marigold with it in the pot/grow bag keeps the black fly off your tomatoes a treat :)
