grr, wu 3days

Grr just finished my first ever wu, it took 3 days (well 6 because pc is on 12hours aday)

Its just start another one, guess what, same dam time to do it

My 24hr avg has dropped from 1100 to 600 because i'm currently crunching 3 of the damn things.

I set up 20 borgs this week and half of them got 212x projects. As they're only on for about 8 hours per day and weekdays only, I don't think they're going to help me all that much.....

wait til you get a 1498, i've got one at the moment. its 20% complete and has 8 days to go. It might be worth 805 points but at 10 days to complete on a 2.8ghz xeon is a bit much

There's probably something wrong - most likely it's not using SSE as it's had a dodgy shutdown of the client previously

look in your log for when it started processing the WU and you should see...

[07:44:37] Writing local files
[07:44:37] Using table 1
[07:44:37] Extra SSE boost OK.
[07:44:37] Writing local files

If you don't see that then it's using standard loops and will be going a lot slower than usual.

I think the estimate is off in famon, by my calculations it should be more around the 6 day mark.
