Hi guys.

Does anyone (stulid I'm looking at you ;)) know how to force the boot priority on the ASRock z68 Extreme4? I keep setting my c300 as primary, but then it constantly resets to my Samsung f3. Any ideas on how to force it? I'm running the latest bios as of 10 minutes ago so... :)

Cheers guys :)

You not gone into the bios and selected priority there? Sounds like if your doing the above then your just selecting to use it each time at boot

Yes, I have. Including forcing which of the hard drives takes priority, which dvd drive takes priority. Just keeps resetting. the only way to boot into windows is to open the boot selection menu and select the c300. If I just set it in the UEFI it will just come up with "ERROR-PART REQUIRED FOR BOOT MISSING" or something like that.

Are you sure you are saving the settings after you make the change? :p Are any other BIOS settings sticking when you change them?

Yes, I am definitely saving the settings. Every other setting has stuck, I have a rather nice 5 ghz clock on my 2500k ;)

Yes, constantly reverts back to the sammy, which is annoying as it the one drive I don't have an os on :D
