GRRRR!!! windows defender annoyance

Please help me folks I'm getting Extremely ****** off with Windows Defender. It seems to randomly decide to scan and when it does no matter what i'm doing it steals ALL my cpu time, I've twice been playing online and basically left the game because my computer froze for 5 mins and i know its defender stealing my cpu time- I checked the task manager.

If you figured it out, maybe it would benifit otheres who have the same problem? Not me I use Kaspersky... just a thought lol.

haha true,

basically the first time i only checked the scheduled tasks but not the options in windows defender (doh!) anway there is a setting to turn off auto scans completely

woohoo!!!

i still think its a bit daft that the program by default sets the process priority very high - higher than a game!! which is very annoying!!

just install it when you need it

if you're a member here, you shouldn't need it on your own pc tbh!
