ok, ive got 3 drives, c: d: and e:, i want to move info from d: to e:

so tell me, why the **** does it write it to c: as temp data whilst moving it to e:

infuriating as its a 5 gig file and i dont have 5 gig left on C:

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

what drunken blind overpaid idiot came up with the whole file transfere system.

Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables

Alter the TEMP variables.

what would happen if i just told it not to bother with temp files... i.e. deleted the environment entry.
