Can't really describe how awesome this thing sounds especially when in VTEC(y0), i'll have to borrow my bro's laptop and get a sound clip.

Sweet mother of god  what are the power increases like? bet it sounds a beast! is that the same type thats on the M3 CSL!?

Gruppe M make induction kits that feature carbon fibre boxes.M3 CSL has a carbon fibre induction plenum which is BMW made not Gruppe M. :)

Not fully sure about increases, probably upto 7-8hp on a cold day? I'd need to RR it to be sure.

Just found this, http://www.thequartermile.co.uk/videos/GruppeM.mov

..pretty much identical to mine though you need to hear it properly, it's physically impossible to not smile when putting your foot down in 3rd:D

This is one of the reasons it's so loud, it's pretty deep! .... thats a K&N filter in there too:)

That looks so ace! Need a CF bonet to complete it now :)

EDIT - watched that video, that just sounds lovely!

Engine breather, gets rid of condensation etc. on the rocker cover I think. It's not attached to the throttle cable in any way.

What are you still doing here?

Go and get record some sound clips of it in action...now! :p Please...

And lots of revs!

I just recorded my car but there is too much road noise? Anyone know how to get rid of it?

It's the oil breather; the throttle cable isn't attached at all, just an illusion in the pic.

Got an IceBox on my CTR (the only mod), it made 212bhp at the last powerstation RR I went to (extremely hot summers day), so decent breathing mods can give a nice little increase.

358 quid?!? wow...it's a nice little intake but I can't imagine spending over 50 quid on an induction kit....i mean jeez, i've never even spent more than 50 usd on one.

Well you've got the GruppeM for £358 (if you get lucky and don't get raped by customs), ITG Maxogen for £390, Icebox is £250 ish? (Bigsy will be able to confirm) Mugen box for about £400 or the AEM CAI which is really cheap (£150-200 ish?) but i've read some bad stories about water getting into the engine due to the cone being in the wheel arch.

I guess you could get a 50USD K&N cone and enjoy heatsoak..

Either way £350 is a tad dear for a little bit of carbon fibre :p

350 is a tad dear for 2-5hp, a little bit of throttle response, and a noise.

looks nice though
