I am using 7900sg which has 20 Pixel Pipelines and the GT has 24 Pixel Pipelines
how diffrent are there basic build are they the same cards my question, is there 4 more Pixel Pipelines that can be found on the 7900gs or is 20 the max you will get.

It's widely agreed that since the 7800gtx and 7800gt the pipes have been 'laser cut' (whatever that means) and no amount of soft-modding will open them up. Hard modding may be a different matter, but I suspect you'd need more than a bit of solder and some masking tape.

It may be possible with some cleverly hacked drivers to run the two in SLi (by soft modding the gt to 20 pipes and 7 shaders), but you'd be a braver man than me to try and work it out yourself
 
You could try backing up your GT BIOS and reflashing it with the makers 7900GS BIOS. It might bork the card but you should be able to reflash with the backed up GT BIOS again.
