Hey guys, had my GS60 ghost pro for about 2 months now, and in the past few weeks I've started getting a random issue. The screen will just turn itself off now and then, but the laptop stays on. If I close the laptop and then open it again, it's fine, but usually it'll happen again seconds later.

It can happen 3 or 4 times in a sitting, and then not do it for 2 weeks after.

ANY ideas what it could be?

Thanks

That's good customer service right there :)

Better than the gigabyte story going on in another thread lol makes me think i need a MSI ..... Need to wait for a discount though as I'm on a budget. ... nice to know all the same

So I've contacted MSI and they've given me the details on how it can take up to 21 days or more to repair and return items, fair enough. My issue here though is that I'm rarely at home in the UK for longer than 2 weeks. So I'm a bit stuck as to where I stand now. I have been away for the past 7 weeks so the item is out of the 28 day full refund offered by OC, but I can't send it off to be repaired as I won't be at home long enough to receive it back. I don't really want to be away for another 7 weeks without the laptop that I've paid decent money for.

Can OC help me out here at all?

Hi there,

Can you forward me the emails you have received?

The service center states 21 days but repairs are usually done allot quicker. I can try to ask them to do it a little quicker for you. Sometimes it works, but the standard time to quote is 21 days.

Forward the correspondence to me, and I will see what I can do.

[email protected]

Many thanks

Figured I'd revive this instead of starting a new thread.

I bought this from OC in May last year. Is it still under warranty?

I keep getting BSOD with 'driver power state failure'. Plus problems with my GPU not being recognised. I've tried a bunch of fixes but nothing is working, so I figured it could be a hardware problem.

Hi Lloyd,

As standard, this Gaming Notebook will have come with a two year warranty so you should be covered. I would email [email protected] on this. I will monitor this thread to so if you are not getting anywhere, let me know
