Hi, as I posted my mini review here giving someone information about the GS60 laptop that I own, I thought I would ask my own question in a separate thread to avoid completely hijacking it.
I own the GS60 laptop at the moment but there's a slight problem. The advertised model I purchased claimed it had 16GB RAM installed, with a GTX970 3GB, an i7 4720HQ and 128GB M.2.SATA SSD. All these specs are correct except the RAM which has 8GB instead of 16GB.
One of the only things that has been bothering me about the GS60 is the screen bezel. Even though the screen is HD 1920 x 1080, it just seems like it's a little small some how. Again I don't know if it's the bezel.
Since I have the offer, I can still technically send the GS60 back and purchase the GS70 which is 17.3" instead of the 15.3" GS60 but I don't know if this would actually improve the screen issues of looking small.
I love how light, sleek, thin and portable the GS60 is compared to some other high spec laptops that I was seriously considering like the ASUS G751 but I honestly cannot see myself wanting to carry ten pounds of bulky looking laptop every where. As sleek as the MSI GS60 is though, it's not completely flawless. As I said in that mini review post of mine. The enter key being split into two different keys is pretty annoying among a few other little things here and there.
If anyone can think of a completely different laptop for £1275 that has the same type of specs I'd love to hear it.
Thank you.
