Epic, gonna have to give this a try as soon as I complete MGS4 and, well, the "original", 2007 STALKER which I still haven't got round to finishing!

Surely it's going to be buggier than a school of baby bugs in buggies though?

WIll hopefully see some h4x brought about to bring it up to a good standard of stability. Struggling to get some of the parts but am downloading, will be interesting to see what it's like.

Anyone gave this a try? I just get errors when I run it, seems to be trying to reference another location to run the game? Just get a stop or debug option...
I'll maybe download again but I'd quite like to give it a shot so hopefully someone knows of a fix.

I've just been looking at some vids of this build WTF were THQ/GSC thinking, this looks better than the final release (although according to those that have played it, it is buggy), it even has proper phyics implemented. The sky looks amazing. It is totally beyond me why they did this, its like lets make a good game then remove 60% of it.

Installation instructions

1. Download the files from one of the links below and extract them to a new folder
2. Delete the 'savedgames' folder
3. Run the game with run_alife_s.bat

clear sky is ****ing awesome. loved crawling through swamps, picking my way through anomaly clusters, daring to risk just a few extra seconds in massive radiation to claim my prize

I downloaded the file then extracted everything. Problem now is it reads to delete any savegame files which it won't let me do. I'll have another go maybe tomorrow, getting too late for this now.
