Hi,

As the title says, I cannot get my system to boot with my 2GB of GSkill HZ series RAM running in dual channel, so at the moment it is running in 'single channel' - not good

Current settings are:

3,4,4,8 2T as shown in the screeny

I have the RAM in DIMM slots 1 & 3, however to run dual channel they need to be in 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, but when I try this the system fails to boot.

Any advice on what I may have set wrong or what I can do, I have memtested the RAM and it is fine.

Cheers

hmm i think abit mobos have problems with gskill hz. I have the same ram and when i was considering upgrading my mobo, i was looking at abit. Before getting it I emailed the gskill customer support guy about compatibility and he advised me to avoid it. :(

I have the same memory in the same board, with both sticks in the slots closest to the cpu location and its running dual channel

Havent started oc'ing as I need to install a more powerful PSU before it will be stable

Not sure what to suggest apart from the above, my bios according to CPU-Z is dated 20.03.06 V6.00PG
