GSM network software

Hi - does anyone know of any software I can put on my phone, or my laptop, to analyse the radio link from my mobile phone? Or gather any additional information from the network? I'm just curious really!

GSM isn't just as "radio link" it's more complex

Sadly only "instrumented mobiles" specially manufactrured allow access to the various data streams.

You might find one willing to report the QoS and signal strength and cell tracking info, but don't knwo outside of the "specials" the manufacturers produce.
