GSync over HDMI 2.0 @ 1440p? Or FreeSync?

I run my 4070 thru an HDMI KVM switch which is HDMI 2.0.

If I get say a 144hz monitor which is GSync compatiable, is there any chance the 4070 will GSync to that monitor over the KVM's HDMI 2.0 to the monitor?


Failing that FreeSync?

Current monitor inputs:-
DP - Work laptop
HDMI - KVM with server PC and games PC

Guess if the monitor had two HDMI something could be done on that front, but obviously not as slick/easy to operate as a KVM to switch keyboard, mouse AND monitor ;)
