Asus rog 27".
In Fallout 4 I get up to 60 fps on this with 980ti sli @ the 1440p and 60hz.

If I up the refresh rate to 85 in Nvidia control panel Fallout 4 drops to low 20s.

Any ideas what I have got wrong. I know FO4 isn't good over 60hz, I have vsync off and gsync set in Nvidia control panel. I also have the FO4 ini files set for vsync disabled.

Vsync should be set to 'on' in Nvidia control panel.

in nvidia control panel -> gsync on, vsync on. Then delete your fallout4 ini files so the launcher can create new ones. Latest patch and fresh ini files = working gsync over 60hz. Mine works perfectly with unaltered ini's all the way up to 144hz with gsync
