I was hoping to replace my 980TI with a 3080 but I'm not even going to bother trying to get hold of a 3000 card this side of Christmas now. The AMD cards open on Wednesday as I understand it so I'm happy to look to them for alternatives because I'm not loyal one way or the other.
The only thing holding me up now is that I have two GSync monitors. Is GSync/FreeSync still important? I don't see people talk about it much but if I move to AMD is it really going to be a big deal not having it? They're 1440p 144Hz Dell S2716DG monitors.
