GT 1030

I would like to play games from 2015 and earlier (and also GTA V) with higfh resolution. Im thinking of buying this card with a ryzen 3 1200.
Is this card capable of doing that?

Depends what you consider playable - a GT1030 will run GTA V with lower settings at around 30fps at 1080P:

Not really, I'd personally look at a 1050 at the very least.

What is your budget and what parts do you currently have?

I have allready a gtx 1050 and ryzen 5 1600 and my bro wants a pc for 2015 and earlier games. He doesnt live with me, so i thought a ryzen 3 and a gt 1030 would be enough.

A 1050ti would be much better. Maybe give your brother your 1050, and get a 1050ti or 1060 3gb for yourself?

depends what games you refer to.

theres a video on youtube with a 1030 mated to an FX 6 core running FO4 on medium rather well, theres also some other demanding games, but cant remember what ones.

the 610 in my system it weak, but runs FO3 on high setting @ 1366x768 very well as well as Star Craft 2, they were fairly demanding games in their times and the GT 610 is nowhere near gaming capable, so should be fine with a 1030, but again depends on the actual games,.

he wants to play games like total war 1, counterstrike, far cry 3 etc. not newer than that.
