little beauty for 96 quid :D

after readon the other thread about frame sizes, found this 19inch frame, hopefully it'll be ok for a 6foot guy?

Now to lose some weight :D

19" is fine.
I ride a 19" Gary fisher and im 6'.

If you havnt already get a decent, comfortable helmet, as it could make such a difference in a off.

Saturday an arm + collar bone breaking fall could have came out a lot worse, so now whenever im going on my bike other than popping to tezzas or similar, im going to put me lid on!!

Now get out there and ride.

good point that i had never though of to be fair.

Now ill be properly riding i hadnt considered a helmet! Shocking i know.
Off to halfords to spend some vouchers i have then :)

Nice. I like GTs.

You do, however, realise that you could have got a new 2006 GT Avalanche 3.0 for less than £200. As long as that bike has been looked after I am sure it will give you many years of almost pain free cycling! :D :p

Do you know what years model it is?

You do realise I don't have just under 200 ;) Student's life you see, haha.

Not sure on model year, It is a question I shall ask.

No worries! Just get out and ride and pimp GT to other MTB'ers on the forum. Now you own a GT the GT will own you... I looked a a 2007 Specialized Rock Hopper Pro Disc (ridden by a nice girl, but I missed that!) and my bike got the huff and wouldn't speak to me for the rest of the day... bummer!

Where are you from mate?

I might be able to recommend some nice riding spots near you.

Spent at least 30 quid on a helmet and if your going to be doing miles maybe a pair of padded lycra shorts.

If youve got a lidl near you, they had some cycling stuff in a while ago, not sure there will be much left :D

Dont worry about that lyvra word either just wear them under your riding shorts if you dont have a "HAWT" body :D

Me in lycra, oh god help the public.

Im from west mids, I know of Clent hill, and kinver edge round here. Should make for some good treks :)

Also, you guys wouldnt know best way of shipping the bike would you? Need to get it from manchester to near bham. Any help :D?
