GT Championships at Silverstone

Hi guys, seeing as everyone else is putting up there shots, it's only fair that i stick up mine.

First time at the circuit and i went with the intention of just watching the racing and if i got a couple of good shots i would be very happy indeed as i knew that I would struggle with the 200mm.

Really enjoyed the day, managed to cheekily get on the grid aswell without a grid pass

The new pit layout and paddock looks so good, they've done a proper good job of modernising the curcuit.

Nikon D7000 and Sigma 70-200 f2.8 on the track shots, some of the other shots were using the Kit 18-105mm.

That automatically gets added when you embed a Flickr photo

Amen to Goliath, when i got to the track at 9 and saw the gt1's doing the practice I thought they were loud.

But, then heard them again at the main race, as they all pelted it through the first corner in a pack i was stood at the pit exit, my god, the noise. Now i've heard race cars of all types before (other than f1) and couldn't believe the awesomeness of it, they made your insides shake, especially the Nissan GTR's. Has to be heard to be understood.
