Picked up GT Legends today in HMV for £15 . Got home and started playing it and wow. All I can say is what an amazing game. Runs really well on my spec as well as having some nice effect's.

Anyone know where I can get some car's and tracks?

no cars yet i'm afraid, might be quite a while until we see any, not aware of any current projects, thats not saying there isnt any though, but there are plenty tracks. infact i think malc30 posted up a very convenient track pack in another thread i'll see if i can find it.

yes here

gives you all the essential tracks for online play.

**edit for above**i'm running 1280x960, DX9 shaders, full ingame graphics settings, FSAA level1, no Vsync, track characters off, not sure but think thats everything covered.
it never drops below acceptable performance usualy up 60-70fps+
night time with full grid and headlights(most stressful time) on sometimes dips to the mid20's on the starting grid but quickly climbs as the field spread out.
looking at your spec you should have no problems at all playing the game in its full glory.

Hows it run on your system, i run the kit in the sig at 1600x1200 with Max quilty settings in the NVidia drivers and an absolute min of 2xAA/2xAF.

see above.
as i said when running it like i do it runs perfectly fine, never have any problems with stuttering or low fps, hell it dosnt even cross my mind when playing.
with a 7800 i reckon you SHOULDNT have any trouble playing it at the settings you wish(but not guarenteeing), have you tryed the demo? that'll give you a great idea on how it'll handle, but bare in mind the track on the demo isnt the most graphicly stressing, the nurburgring GP track is probably the most stressing, but still you will get a very good idea of the performace from the demo.

you should be able to get it working, cant see why you wouldnt, i had an xbox pad and an xbox steering wheel working with it before i bought my DFP, if you can get the pad working in other games it should work with this, just have to fiddle with it until you are happy with button layout, sensitivity and such.
but i really would reccomend investing in steering wheel at some point, you will be able to play fine with a pad but it may be a hinderance and you wont get the most out of the game and in all it'll be a much better experience with a wheel.

good luck with GTL, you wont regret buying it:D

Just about to spend a lot of money on a new car so telling the missus i need a steering wheel for my PC wont go down to well at the mo, them pad works fine with a couple of game demos ive tried and to tell the truth it feels fairly natural, im a massive Grand T fan and love the way the pad works in that.
Finished FEAR and Quake4 so may have to have a dig at this.
Cheers for the help

Works fine with a PS2 pad and adapter, im using one now although i never use the drivers which come with the adapter as it causes problems with some games.

Nice demo, im looking to purchase the full version myself, cant wait to throw the mk1 escorts round a track :D
