Hi all. Not really posted in here for years as I have never had any card issues untill now.
I have the GT 440 card and all works well in W7. I have recently upgraded to windows 8 and during the installation the graphics were corrupted and I had to reinstall using the onbaord graphics on my motherboard. I have googled lots about the issues and any workarounds but nothing seesm to make sense.
I have now got a clean install of W8 and have taken out the card so there is nothing on or in my PC regarding the GT440. I downloaded the upto date drivers from nvidia for my version which is W864bit. I plugged the card in and booted the pc. Windows found it and I installed the drivers with no issues. The PC rebooted and it was all working. The card had no problems whatsoever.
I shut down the PC and later that day turned it on and the graphics were corrupted again with error 43 I believe.
I uninstalled the drivers and removed the card. Now using the onboard agian.
Anyone else have the issue and what is the best way to sort it. I find playing any games with onboard graphics a pain as its just doesnt cut the mustard..
