GT5:Prologue UK online?

hi guys, i currently have the jpn version of GT5 prologue. the online side is random race grids based upon people who join an event.

is the UK vers any different, i.e can you set up an individual race/room and invite friends, or do some room admin to decide who can join each event?

They are pretty much the same except for slightly different menu interfaces due to how the languages are presented.
