gt5 question

hi

i have a question about gran turismo 5 prologue , when its released is this like the full game , as in why not call it just gran turismo 5 ?

No its not full version its cut down version of full game which is coming later (well hopefully) this year basically just taster.

It's not the full game, that's why

It's like the other prologue they did on the PS2. It's like a really large demo.

It's 5 or 6 tracks and 30 something cars with online play, nice taster but far from the full game.

Over here prologue has a release date of 28/3, thats at everywhere I look so hopefully should be true. For the full game no one knows...

bugger i thought it was the full game with loads of tracks and cars , i never played the previous prologue on ps2 so did not know what it was all about , if its like a cut down version , will you be able to carry over data such as cars, licences to the full gt5 when it comes out ?

Some sites have the full GT5 down for Sept 26th 2008. Think I might get Prologue in March as I can't wait till Sept!

Prologue has 50 cars and 5 tracks including London which looks lovely. :cool:

Not sure about transfering data from Prologue to the full version but hopefully they will let you!

In all fairness, it's more then a normal 'demo' it's lots of tracks/cars...

As long as it's the right price, then it could be considered a mini game..

Of course, you would then think that you'd get a discounted upgrade to the full game, but I doubt that will occur...

Yep, on PS2 they charged £20 for the demo (Prologue), then another £30 for the full game a few months later.

Prolouge is well worth paying for, its not a demo as such in the sense you can have much more fun with this than some full games and the online challenges/races keep updating. Fans of the series will love it others should perhaps consider it more before purchasing. The handling is by far very improved and its become my own favourite racing title.

I dont think any offical announcement has been made regards the UK Prologue release. It could be as late as April. As for the full game it wont appear untill December 08 in Japan.

If it follows the usual Polyphoney release schedule that means approx Feb 09 for USA and March-April 09 for UK.

Hi Latte, I ve read the whole Playseat review and I cant pm you, so I will ask you the question here, I would like to know the distance from the ground and the support for the racing wheel, as at the moment I am between 50 - 60 cm from the ground which is perfect but dont want to invest in something which will be higher than that...
