GT5 - Time Attack

Thought it would be a good idea to test our skills against one another.

How will this work?

As you're probably aware, we now have the option to loan and/or borrow other users cars at the touch of a button. So no more having to trade cars back and fourth

Track - Nurburgring Nordschleife

Rules

NO performance upgrades (Race/Sports Tyres Only)
Cars must be borrowed from the elected user
Screenshot of lap time must be posted
NO cheating

Eligible Cars -

Enzo Ferrari - Standard
Nissan GTR Spec-V - Standard
Zonda R - Standard
Honda NXS Type R -TUNED/Power Upgrades
LEXUS LFA - No power upgrades

I'll go ahead and supply all of the relevant cars. Feel free to add me and then borrow them when you're ready!

its a good idea but theres no way of telling if people have used their own tuned car,

True.... Fingers crossed we can trust our fellow members.

Failing that we should arrange track sessions.

Last few time attack style events have always just relied on trust - We were just hoping the people at OcUK were all good boys and girls

Ill probably give it a go in either the Zonda or Nissan. Dont know when ill get round to it though.

The members on the forza time trials thread are trusting so no reason why the ps3 peeps wont be. Have faith.

I will probably give this a go at some point, provided I remember!
Purdy sure I gots you added already DAIR. Not too keen on Nordschleife these days, having done a fair few laps of it, it's just such a long lap it takes forever to get into the rhythm, I can't just switch it on

Would appreciate if all are honest about what aids they've used, if only so I feel less bad about my dismal times as I'll be using ABS on 1 only and nout else.

The sharing update does help for these events but it does mean we can't run events with awesome prize cars :rolleyes:

Actually I might start up an MP room in a bit, will post details in main thread, would be good to get some proper racing going, especially with the F1 back to get us revved up

That the only assist I use too (ABS - 1).
