hi guys i have a MSI GT83VR 7RF laptop which in few weeks I will need to apply new Thermal Paste however I am looking to get advice from members that have had the best results with a particular Thermal paste in this laptop or owners of this laptop that have had experiences with it.

Now I am looking to get the best temperatures (exclusively) in the laptop I am not talking about which thermal paste in the cheapest or cost efficient I would like to get advice on which paste is the best for this laptop temperature.

any advice you could provide would be very much appreciated

You can't go wrong with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.

I agree. It's what I use - it works very well and it's quite convenient to work with.

I haven't used it on a laptop, but I think it probably wouldn't matter. The gaps should be comparable in size and gap size is the only thing I can think of that would possibly change which thermal paste is more efficient.

What about liquid metal? I read few good reviews on performance or Artic silver 5?

You need to be really careful if you are thinking about using Liquid Metal. It is a lot trickier to apply than normal thermal paste. One slip and you could end up potentially killing your laptop as it is electrically conductive as well as thermally conductive. Also you can't use something like Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut with Aluminium Heatsinks. Might not apply to a laptop but you need to be aware.

The video below shows Liquid metal bringing temps down by 20c if you want to go down that road.

If you are unsure then stick with the regular thermal paste like the Kryonaut or Noctua NT-H1 etc.

Got it thanks very much so conclusions: for liquid metal Grizzly Kryonaut, for regular also Grizzly Kryonaut, (this one i had it in a old laptop and did not get good results for some reason) after this brand for regular paste what could be a second option? and thanks guys
