GT86/BRZ for commuting?

I have 4 customers that use a brz to commute in and they get between 35 and 40mpg. 1 guy changes every 10k, 2 have done 60k in 3 years and 1 lady has done 95k in 3.5 years.

early gt86s have 3 year 60k warranty and a 4-5 year 60 to 100 powertrain warranty, major engine and gear box only

brzs from 2012 to 2013 have 3 year 60k and from 2013 have the same warranty as the toyota.

I currently work for subaru and previously worked for toyota so have driven both cars. there is no real difference apart from stereos really between them. brzs do hold the value slighty better as they are more rare as there was a sales limit in the first 2 years imposed on them

Any questions feel free to ask

Biggest complaint I've read on the prior years was the Nav unit being terrible...

Can't speak for the BRZ, but I have the Toyota Touch&Go unit in mine. I was pleasantly surprised with it. It has some decent features....lane assist, international maps, full postcode search, even traffic updates. The routing seems pretty good and hasn't put me astray yet. It also has speed camera locations maps and gives a warning when your approach, even if not in nav mode. However the UI isn't fantastic, and I'm sure there's much better dedicated units or phone apps available, so I certainly wouldn't bother going out of your way to find a car with it specced.

Just bluetooth up your phone and use Google Maps, way better than any manufacturer nav.

Yea, I purposely didn't go with a built in nav on my current car. Updating them can be a pain and is rarely free. Not a lot of point in them any more when I can simply use a phone with something like google maps, which is completely free and has more features.
