Me and my mate have found this posted on the net. It's meant to be the map for the next GTA released in October sometime this year. You think it's real or not. I think it looks a bit photo-shopped

It looks total fake to me. Plus GTA 4 is gonna b set in London and its surrounding areas last time I heard

If thats real I will eat my copy of GTA 4

it will probably be something brand new imo.

indeed it is, look closely and it even says vice city and liberty city etc

yeh it will be brand new, cause if they wanted to include all the old places they'd need to re-do those places in they're new engine.

there has been no official word from Rockstar at all

in December 2005, The Inquirer also claimed that GTA would be set in London

I hope its not in London since I actually enjoy the games because they are not set in a real city, thats probably why I couldnt stand the true crime series :/ (or just the fact that they were crap?

I just love to see what they can actually create from scratch

personally i see it being the same as san andreas, multiple areas all different styles

like in SA they had the hoods, the country/farms, the trade district and a city

so it shuld hopefully be a good mix of stuff, and hopefully more rpg like too, better character customisation etc..

TBH I was hoping for an Oriental GTA, with a few Skylines and Ninja's, as well as the Yakuza etc.....

I just hope it has Coop like crackdown.. and some kind of online Rival gangs Team DM multiplayer mode.

Something tells me that map is fake. Something obvious.

The only official announcement so far is that it is called GTA IV, and will be released in October for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Surely it can’t be set in London, seems kinda not GTA. Anyway we'll find out in October

I kind of hope that map is real, although I doubt it is. I think it would be great to have all three of the old maps incorporated into the new but they still make up less than half of the total map so there will be loads of new places to explore.

Rockstar are very very tight lipped and I doubt we will know where or when it's set until they make an official annoucment though

I have been playing Saint Row lately and can see they have tried to copy Rockstar by putting in some GTA style humour, but it doesnt work imo. Still a good game but not a patch on GTA.
