GTA 4 on SLI

Ive been playing some GTA lately and noticed my fps wasnt great, its good, but not great then i noticed it doesnt work with sli which explains it. I was on youtube watching some videos when i came across the gtx 480 vs 5970 on the lost and damned benchmark which of course the 5970 won. But then i noticed a gtx 480 sli vs 5970 vid which the 480's beat the 5970 and was much faster than the standard gtx 480. Does anyone know how to activate sli on gta ? ive looked but cant find an answer.

Don't think GTA IV supports SLI

There was some guy on here who claimed to have made it work but when we all asked to see his settings he had 'just uninstalled it' because it was boring or something and so he couldn't show us.
