Ahh yes enabling AA can have a hit on the performance of a game. I'm not to bothered about AA being enabled myself. In a way it'll be better if it's not if it means a smoother experience through out the whole game.

I envisage that the extra content on the 360 will be extra missions within liberty city but that rockstar will in time release new city expansions for the ps3 and 360. If you are a massive fan then the 360 is best but I think a lot of people will make a big deal about it and get nowhere near 100% in gta4 anyway.
Also if anyone thinks the dlc will be free - there is no way that is going to happen!

Future Publishing have just released their CVG GTA IV special. The whole magazine is dedicated to the biggest videogame franchise of the 21st Century. What stands out is their blatant lust for the Xbox 360 version over the PlayStation 3 version. Why? Because of the Downloadable Content of course. CVG compares the Xbox 360 exclusive DLC to the Vice City & San Andreas games in space and scope, and claims the DLC will feature a brand new city.

IF this is true, and you notice I used a big IF, then I will definately pick up a 360 again nearer the time. Quite happy to play it on PS3 for now though

I don't care about one version being slightly better than the other. The only thing that matters is that I know Rockstar will probably release the best game of this generation so far on each system 
Everything else is down to small preferences, slightly better online, slightly better controller, more friends on one console than the other... who cares?
I hate these threads, they're just made to make silly arguments. The OP could just do the simple thing and wait like everyone else to see what the reviews are like just before the game is released, and then decide which version is the best

i have a 360 and a PS3 but i will be getting PS3 version, as im slowly phasing my xbox 360 out, and then will sell it, because theres no exclusives coming out on 360 that i want, and theres quite a few on ps3 i want .

I find it incredibly dubious that a 3rd party magazine has already seen the DLC that is not due out till August. You would think Microsoft would be the ones dropping big hints if all of that was true.

Yea exactly, if it was true microsoft would be doing special sponsorships of magazines and getting them to hype up the content and give the official word, but thats not happened has it...

Well i have a ps3 and a 360 and i have the game on preorder for the 360.
It is possible that the new content could be an extra city and if so it will make one hell of a game.

After much agonising, I plumped for the 360 version over the PS3. In the end, it came down to the fact that I have a load more friends on Live than PSN, plus the DLC is going to extend the lifetime of the game much further than the PS version.
For those still undecided on which version to pre order - hurry up! Several high st and online stores are no longer taking pre orders as they have already allocated their first day allotments. I can foresee this selling out in stores on the day of release (not to mention all the kids trying to buy it), there will be tears!

What worries me is that framerate issues are quite obvious in all the touched up trailers, even the one that came out today on the psn.

Just play the other GTA games and imagine better graphics and more detial and you have GTA4.

Well, there are two so far and they both gave it 10/10.
They don't release in game gameplay videos for any of the GTA's usually.
The videos we have seen are rendered in game but using cinematic angles, which is good enough for me.
