GTA 4 Saves not working after reinstall of system

I have read about some problems of not being able to use your saved games after reinstalling GTA4. I also remember reading of a fix but can't find it.

Anyone know where I can find it?

ive formatted my xp in the past and used my old saves ok without having to do anything, well what i did was back up the saves from the documents folder on the c: and i put them in my d: drive, reformatted, and copied my saved back over to the c:

You did backup the saves first right?

Yeh I did back them up.

I found the fix now any thanks mate.

Its called 'xlive wrapper'.
