GTA 4 stuff

Just installed this today and didn't realise you can't remap the keyboard. I spent ten minutes getting everything right, noticing there's no apply button, played for two minutes before saving & then lost everything. Is there a mod or anything to fix this? Just seems a little strange being allowed to choose your own keyboard layout to begin with. Back to to bookshelf you go GTA4

er....you can remap the keys... cant remember exactly but its something along the lines of 'remap keys as you feel fit then press enter'

Just get the latest patch, it enables custom key mappings.

Still not letting me play with those 'remapped keys' Worse still, it's not loading now (stuck at the big GTA4 logo). Got the latest patch

These's a bit on the back of the box saying 'for sale in asia only' Maybe that's why I'm getting problems. There's this picture below which sometimes shows up when getting out to desktop. A popup underneath this wants a password too.

I don't see this picture when playing any other games.

run game as admin?

selecting run as admin from any of the GTA4 exe's gives me a 'GTA Fatal Error, please reinstall..'

Magaged to play for a full hour

saved a couple of times (after collecting some cash from roadkill). Bumped into one of those side mission guys on the street who gave me $xx. The game autosaved and all controls went back to default. Too much hassle. Game over.
