GTA 5 for Xbox Series X

Hi,

Im late to the part but i'm tempted to play GTA 5 again on my Xbox Series X.

I've seen online there's a enhanced version for both Series X and PS5 released in 2022 i think i read.

Now looking on the PS5 store its £34.99 if i remember correctly

There two listings on the Xbox store one for £16.49 and one for £27.99 (game pass discounts)

Im unsure what is the correct version to buy,

The 1st version gives you access to both versions of the game.

The original xbox one version and the Xbox Series S/X version.

2nd Version just the next gen version

Xbox have really complicated the cross gen process with the naming scheme for their consoles.

So just get the cheaper and I'll still have the series X version with the enhancements?

Yeah from what I can see, also it's on gamepass if you're a subscriber to that.

Yeah I've got gamepass ultimate but I was under the impress it's only the Xbox one version not the series X enhanced version of the game.

I'd download and find out,

Players with a copy of GTA 5 for Xbox 360 or Xbox One must follow these steps to get the Enhanced Edition on Xbox Series X/S.

Power on the Xbox Series X.
Head to the Microsoft Store.
Search for Grand Theft Auto 5.
Select Grand Theft Auto 5 (Xbox Series X/S).
Select Grant Theft Auto 5 with Story Mode and Grand Theft Auto Online.

GTA 5 for Xbox Series X/S is a paid upgrade unless it is available for free via Xbox Game Pass.

Anyone know the difference between them? Is it just better graphics ?

60fps, higher res and ray racing, I think the textures are higher res too
