is this still fairly active?

I completed the story on the 360 version..never played online as my internet was rubbish then...thinking about buying it again for XB1, it's on offer in the store just now, just wondering if it's worthwhile getting one of the shark cash card packs
The top one 'Megalodon shark' is £65 for that + the game

I only use online for racing, very active thanks to the new Stunt Races which came out about 2 months ago. General online, no idea.

ooft, driving was my favourite part of the game
do you need to spend money on things with the stunt races?

Nope, not at all, all the stunt vehicles are available to buy if you want to customise them but I don't and have won more than my fair share of races. Give it a go, it's a right laugh.

I got back into it recently for the stunt races, which are quite fun.

The whole experience is still ruined by ridiculous load times, however.

This is all true. Online seems to be relatively popular still, whenever I join a games there always tends to be at least 8 people. Stunt races are great.

Usually just play it online with mates. Stunt races, the odd mission or sometimes the current CEO stuff.

Money bags everywhere, taking all of your guns off you, invincible, etc etc...

I don't do PvP shooting, so I haven't noticed any of that.
In terms of gameplay I've never noticed any hacking on the PC. The only hacking I've noticed is graphical insertions (I found myself wearing a toilet once).

Online is still adequately active. It takes a bit longer to find an active public lobby activity now, but you will still find what you want.

I'm enjoying the stunt races a lot, have been since they got released.

Usually jump on and dumped in a busy server, which is still nice to see. Join a stunt race too and usually at near full 16 players :)

I seldom come across cheaters, which is also good! If there is one, I guess just jump into another server... problem solved.

Biker DLC should be out today I believe?

Looking forward to some Road Rash style biking, hope they have a crowbar and cattle prod

Buy it digitally and you'll never need to worry about that again ;)

It's the game that just keeps giving. I realise Rockstar will be making cash out of Shark cards and the likes, but to have all the DLC free is pretty awesome.
