Ps6 is likely 2028 so who cares, that will be £1000+ most likely which would price a lot of people out, so I’m glad it’s coming to ps5.
Anyway it’s digital, maybe Rockstar/Sony will offer a free upgrade to the ps6 version.

I sold my xbox one after 6 months which I bought just to play GTA5 on release.. It was the only console I've bought since the Wii lol..
Is the general consensus that the PS5Pro is the one to buy if you have nothing? And 2nd hand to save money I guess.. (if anyone is actually selling theirs)

That's exactly what I did. Picked up a used a 360 just to play GTA5 and Forza. Didn't sell the console though as I still have it.
I have recently managed to grab a PS5 PRO for a very good price so should as ready as I can be for GTA6.

I'm contemplating buying something just for GTA 6 - heart says just buy a PS5 Pro but the head says save a fortune and just buy another Series X that I already have a bit of a digital library for....
If better graphics and/or performance is important to you, PS5 Pro. If not and you just want to play it regardless and you have an Xbox library already then may as well go for that.

To be honest another part for me is that the PS5 natively supports 1440p; I had issues with my 1440p screens and the Series X as it had to run in 4k regardless. I'm not too bothered about graphics but there are also a few PS5 games I'd like to get a hold of (Gran Turismo mainly!)
