GTA games and vista 64

I'm thinking of buying the Rockstar pack from steam - however I would like to know if they actually work under Vista X64.

Has anyone tried?

3 to SA i know works but ive not tryed any of the earlyer GTA games.

I have been play SA online the past few days on x64, when i exit it, i get a non responding error, even though the game has actually closed perfectly fine, although my friend does seem to get a lot of random crashes with it again playing online.

Sa is fine.
Had problems with mouse and random lockups in vice.
3 iirc worked fine, can't renmeber.

This was with early nvidia drivers though, I think it's all fine now.

but that's a 3rd party mod and has nothing do with the gta games you can buy.

I haven't had any crashes it was fine online in SAMP.
And ''has to be closed down'' makes no difference anyways, you're trying to close the game down anyhow why care for such messages ?

I was playing GTA 1 the other day on Vista 64. No problems at all!

I can confirm that all of the GTA 3 series work perfectly in Vista64. I've uninstalled them now, but back when Vista was released I played them all

My Grand theft auto san andreas (I dont have steam Version, I have a normal copy) stop working after installing service pack 1, i have vista 64
