Has anybody managed to get these to work properly on a modern computer? I've just bought the GTA pack in the Steam sale and I've had nothing but problems. GTA III has a weird glitch where I can't see any of the text in the menus, I've tried disabling the Steam overlay and running it in compatibility mode but neither of those things made any difference at all.
As for Vice City I can see the menus fine but I have to navigate them with a keyboard as for some strange reason it won't recognise my mouse at all.
Are there any third party patches for these? I had a quick look but I could only find stuff that pre-dates Steam. I appreciate these are old titles but if they don't work properly on modern machines they shouldn't be on sale. I'd ask for a refund through Steam but I want to play GTA IV and the DLC for it.
EDIT: Just messing around trying to get Vice City to work with a mouse and it doesn't even close when you try to exit the game, I just get the "greetings from Vice City" splash screen until I press the Windows key and right click close...
