GTA IV Crashed.

Playing GTA IV for about 45 mins just all was fine,Then just pauses and crashed to desktop saying "Gta IV has stopped working."

Ive been playing the game for a couple of weeks with no issues at all,Only just nowthis has happened to me,Wondering if anyone knows what the cause is by these messages/logs...so i can prevent it from crashing again.?

Don't quite understand , are you still able to play?, if you haven't been having issues while playing the game and it crashed once 45 mins in I wouldn't worry about it, games crashing just happens, GTA IV isn't the most polished stable game either.

Or are you saying your now crashing frequently or something?

Not tried it again yet,Im sure it will play fine again but of course,I would like to know what caused it to crash in the first place,would be kind of annoying if it keeps on crashing every 40 or so mins when im doing missions.

if auto saves are enabled, i don't think it's possible to lose much more than 5 minutes playtime if it crashes half way through a mission.

as it's a one off i wouldn't worry. i'd only be looking to investigate if it happens again.

but if it does crash again, first thing i'd be looking at is my overclock stability. although it might pass stress tests for hours and other games might be fine, it might just be too much for this game. try backing off a little and then try again.

Yeah Autosaves are enabled,Just been playing for about an hour and no crash so...Not sure what caused it.
