I have installed GTA 4 and had numerous problems so far:
1. Running GTA 4 through Social Club doesn't work.
2. Just connecting to Windows Live through launching GTA seems to disconnect.
To get around problems 1&2. I launch GTA directly.
However, it still won't connect to Live to save.
What is also irritating is that when I do get into the game it lags very heavily for the whole of the first little drive up the hill to the safehouse. This then eases off but still remains as one continues to play. The game then crashed when I drove a car at speed and handbraked it around a corner.
I need advice to rectify both of these latter two problems, the lag being especially concerning.
My spec is:
Intel Core i7 3770K 3.50GHz,
Intel Z77 Chipset, 8GB DDR3 2133MHz,
1TB HDD, OCZ ZS 750w PSU,
LG DVD-RW,
180GB SSD
Nvidia GTX680
