This seems like a huge map, whats the media requirements gonna be for the PC if the xbox and ps3 are blue-ray, hd etc..

also 2008, is way too long, nowing rockstar they'll make it sooner.

2. UT3 on 360 isn't hindering the release date for PS3 or PC, so what the hell are you on about? Mark Rein said the reason for the 360 delay was because of the mods, 360 is a closed network and doesn't allow user-created content so they have to work with Microsoft to solve that, thus the delay. PC and PS3 are getting the normal release date.

the 360 is dvd, philips i beleive, or a samsung drive... cant remember if its either or one of them.

Yeah it is kinda useless for games, I haven't seen one that actually needs it and winrar compression shrinks game isos by at least 25% anyway. Sony made the mistake of thinking that having blu-ray would make the console sell well, when in reality people didn't really want it, hence having to lower prices before it was even launched in Japan and 6 months after release in the USA. You get the odd fanboy on ps.com going on about how you don't have to swap disks blah blah, though you don't on the 360 either, and I imagine most people would have put another disk in the drive before completing said game anyway.

The game is not being released on the same time for the different platforms.

have you ever considered that the main reason the ps3 had blu ray is for sony to push their own hddvd format to the front, if it wasnt for the ps3 blu ray obviously wouldnt be doing too well

Gamesindustry.biz report that Wedbush Morgan Securties analyst Michael Pachter, believes that Rockstar has delayed the release of Grand Theft Auto IV because it is struggling with development on the PlayStation 3

so its all speculation, hes not even part of the company, could be any number of reasons and ofcourse its automatically sonys fault if rockstar runs into problems

For all the xbox fanboys in here, it's a known fact that Rockstar have said they are having trouble fitting the game on a DVD. A problem which doesn't exist with the PS3's blu-ray.

Look it up, i ain't lying So therefore if your speculating that the PS3 is at cause, then yes that's possible but it's also possible that Rockstar are having troubles cutting the game down to fit onto a DVD for 360.

You clearly missed my point. I'm merely pointing out that speculating on why it's delayed is just that, speculation. It could be a fault on either console, yet people are so quick to cast stones.
