GTA IV multiplayer

I recently got this in the steam sales, however when I try to play multiplayer, I cant even connect to a match, and in the lobby, it says something about my NAT being to strict. Does anyone have a solution to this because I was really looking foward to the multiplayer. I have google it many times but so far have not found a solution

I've forwarded all the ports for GFWL and I'm still getting NAT problems, as far as I am aware, is this all I can do?
