GTA IV Release Date

Anyone know if the release date is likely to move to next year?

I am expecting to get my pre-order next week but have read in some places (most likely just unfounded speculation) that it could be delayed until Jan-Feb 09.

I have been waiting ages for this game and hope I do get it next week.

Seems unlikely they'll delay the game until after Christmas, and lose out on all that money.

Unless the game is in an unplayable state.

Yeah 3rd of december. Was pushed back from the 21st Nov.

Yeah just realised that earlier, didn't know it was so soon, will be even sooner by other means.

Think ill just pre-order it on Steam.

Had this on the PS3 and did not like the bloom come blury effect so never played it, hope the PC version is more crisp.

Definately next week as TV ads are running right now at night (All over the place as well: C4, C5, ITV2+3) which highlight the PC & Games For Windows LIVE URL is prominent at the end of the ad so no way its not next week. US gets it on Tuesday. Preorders in the UK will ship next Tues/Wed.

Looks like its gonna be a hardware ballbreaker as well!!

For most people who use this forum, I would imagine that the specs required to run the game are lol!

yea got email about it ages ago:
