Those moaning about graphics, lip syncing and bad animations. Graphics have never been GTA's strong point.

Give me a GTA game with some average graphics over 99% of games that have graphics as a priority nowadays.

GTA gameplay ove GOW graphics anyday.

Just downloaded the 720p version off playstation store.

Nothing in game by the looks of it, just cut scenes (rendered by the game engine I guess, but not still not gameplay).

So overall a meh, waste of time download for me.
(still looking forward to this game tremendously as none of the previous 2d or 3d games ahve disappointed me and have "stolen" many hours of my life. It's my own fault really as I was 99% certain it would just be in game rendered crap and not gameplay!!)

What did you download? trailer 3? there's plenty of ingame footage in this trailer (the one I linked to)

You can plug it in to your monitor using the official VGA cable. You would need to check wth sommeone with this setup regarding the resolutions as some are supported, some aren't. 1:1 will help I guess as you can then have it with small black borders, but avoid the scaling.

GTA cutscenes have always used the game engine too as far as I remember back and the latest video if you watch it on the PC you can see some jaggies and clipping and also some slowdowns during busy areas which all point to ingame engine being used for cutscenes just like the other GTA games.

It sure looks good but I hope it doesn't slow down during gameplay how the trailer shows!

Yeh but your seeing what the game is going to look like. With the other games the cutscenes like that were basically the in game graphics.

I think we're all agreed that it's the game engine is rendering the graphics. I don't care.

It's not the same as actualy gameplay footage.

This'll probably be a game I pick up, but the animations still seem too puppet on a string for my liking. See the dancing fat woman for an example of this.
