GTA mods and issues

I just got the complete pack for £5. However every time I set the max to 1080p it doesnt apply it and its really annoying. How do I make the game open with a custom res?

Also is there any GTA mods. If so where, and how would I apply them through steam?

You need to make sure you confirm the resolution with the space bar. Which is apply.

How is the performance for you in GTA on a different note? I have pretty much the exact same spec as you (same CPU and a 6950). I tried Episodes from Liberty City with it maxed out at 1920x1080, but the frame rate isn't that great. The settings are maxed, but the sliders are around 28/31/50 in that order.

I know GTA is notorious for running poor, but I thought EFLC fixed some of those issues. Seems the shadows are the biggest performance suckers, dropping them from very high down to high helps, pulling around 35-45fps with that.

Not ran GTA IV yet, just 1,2 and 3 as they were my fav. Will update you on how many frames and such soon. As for the gta4 mod link, thanks dude

I tried downloading mods for Steam version of GTA: SA and couldn't get them to work. Not sure if it's the same for the rest of the Steam version's?

I get around 55-60fps on this with high settings. The slider bars in order is 100/50/100

I'm currently looking for some decent mod packs for GTA3 or San Andreas, I've installed mods before for GTA for each individual car/skin/map and it takes hours changing everything. So wanted to ask if any of you guys have or recommend any mod packs.

Yeah I'd like to know aswell. Played few GTA 3 missions. It doesnt like the xbox pad at all..
