GTA:SA stuck on easy mission

hey guys!

I'm on this mission where you have to go pickup a lowrider car and take it to this car meeting. You have to use the cars jumping hydraulics in beat to the music but i cant for the life of me get even one beat right.

I take it you have to bounce the car when the arrows get into the little gold circle at the bottom of the screen? I can get them in but i still miss it?

what the hell am i doing wrong?

oh mate that drove me round the bend. i couldnt for the life of me get it right, even though i 'seemed' to be hitting them bang on. i only managed to pass it by pure luck. 'Drove me potty

lol so what did you do? just keep mashing the jump button?

Hit the arrow keys in the direction of the arrow. Simple, its just they are not very well synced so its pot luck if you get bad, good or perfect.

I found this mission a real pain as well. Had to get a mate do it for me

Do it with the music turned right down, then just worry about getting the timing right.

definitely remap some keys to the keyboard - I was using a joypad and realised that some of the analogue controls didnt move the car properly - once i put it on keyboard it was simple...

If you have problems email me your savegame and Ill do it for you though Im watching a film atm ...

the disco dancing makes me lol. You get all these comments about how amazing your dancing is and then within 5 seconds people are expressing their desire to throw up for how bad it is.

I did this first try Must be all those type of games I play.

I found it a lot easier without the music. With it on, you naturally go with the beat, and end up miss-timing

i was using the key to make the whole car jump rather than the arrows lol! no wonder i couldnt do it

got there in the end
