F.A.Q
What Do I Need?A legal copy of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
Internet/LAN connection (256K+ recommended)
I have a 1.1 version of San Andreas and need 1.0
A fairly common problem with Multi Theft Auto San Andreas is people with the 1.1 version of the game need 1.0 to play and thus can't. To fix this you can EITHER reinstall your game (presuming you downloaded it and didn't buy a newew version with the patch on) or download this simple workaround that changes your SA .exe - Link
Will these modifications slow my computer down?
On the whole no. These modifications generally don't affect your San Andreas files and by todays standards of computers you shouldnt notice your computer being slowed down even if they did.
Why does MTA feel "slow"?
It feels slow because it has a cap of 25FPS, this is too stop people with better computers from driving faster and thus winning races easier.
My ping is 150+!
This is probably because your going on a server located outside of your country, for example a server in Australia is going to give you a higher ping that one down the road. Try finding a server closer to you or cancelling any network hogs like downloads.
So Where Can I Download Them?
GTAT - http://tinyurl.com/cog8v
SAMP - http://sa-mp.com/download.php
GTARumble - http://www.gtarumble.co.uk/forum/index.php?download=1
MTASA - http://light.mtavc.com/download.php?m=11&t=3
Which One Shall I Choose Then?
It all depends on what gamemode your after, if you want racing with ease of map creation get MTA, if you want something a little more freeform get Rumble or GTAT, if you looking for something that could be big with great sync consider SAMP.
Something else.
Try looking at the readme or documentation pages of the mods website for any questions related to it specifically.
