Howdy All,
Pulled out my old dusty copy of San Andreas for the PC yesterday, but soon ran into an issue. The game (from what I saw of it) seems to run perfectly, but there is a glitch with the sound so it would seem.
On initial load to the title screen all sound effects and music work, but the first time I launched the game I lost all sound (music and sfx).
So I quit out, rebooted and this time I got sound on the loading screen and the start of the game (fmv). But I skipped the fmv and blam, all sound went again.
I'm sure after that I left the fmv to run and I got sound in the game... but then it randomly just stopped again.
My spec is in my sig, and the sound card is a Asus Xonar D2X.
Anyone else experienced a similar problem, and ideally found a fix?
Any help appreciated!
