Does anyone know if any platform/game launcher other than Steam such as Epic etc allow you to start the game without the dreaded Rockstar Games launcher?

I have GTA V on Steam but rockstars crappy Rockstar games launcher says my steam account is linked to another Rockstar email (which i cannot remember) and Rockstar support have been absolutely useless in resolving it! So i cannot play the game on steam without successfully logging into Rockstar Games Launcher first which obviously i cant!

So id love to know if there is a platform that sells the game (legit) that they don't have this junk Rockstar games launcher!

Thats not the issue, the issue is the OP had his social club account use a old email which he cannot recall what he used and so cant login to it or recover by using forgot password cos it would go to his old email he used which has no access too. He either wants rockstar to change the email and set up a new password or something else. Emailing rockstar support, explaining no access to past email and sending screenshot proof of ur steam account info and receipt if bought on steam then they should sort him out, did me, after a few emails.
I must have had the most laziest support worker, Simply wasn't interested all i got from him was "We were unable verify account associated with that email" and cannot proceed further.

Like what the hell!

Anyway, I didn't want to do it but i just purchased the game again within the rockstar games launcher using another email and all is good.

ONLY issue with GTA V for me now is my Framerate is so high that it causes certain missions to crash because its the limit of the game engine apparently and it doesn't like very high fps. , Need to find a way to lock the fps to 165 see if that works, If not try less.
Funny thing is VSync isn't working, Its not locking the frame rate!

Regarding the frame rate issue, I had similar when I had my 3060ti, I took the lazy route and just cranked up the anti-aliasing until the framerate dropped enough to not stutter! You should also be able to limit the framerate from the adrenaline control panel (assuming you're still on the 7900XT)
Brill, that sorted it, Locked it to 60 fps and works great, Actually leaves my system not doing a fat lot just taking it in its stride which is nice.
