LOL - you beat me to it... that picture always makes me laugh :D

I'd wager a hefty bet that because they have done Liberty City again they will be re-inventing the original three games and doing Vice City next. There's even a clue in the end of GTAIV that Vice City is possibly the next location. I can't find the related story now, I'm failry sure it was on Kotaku. There was one of the characters fairly late on in the game who said they were moving to Vice City for some reason... can't remember wht reson, but I remember thinking at the time that it was a bit of a big clue - sorry, I'm a bit vague!

I loved the size of San Andreas so I'd love to see that remade, as just being able to go out and explore the areas between the cities was great. It added more variety as well as just having city locations constantly can get a little boring in the end. Something like that would do me fine.

Mexico City could be a very suitable contender and really fits the bill for a GTA game.

Good shout, mexico would be pretty cool!

Personally i wanna see GTA: Hong Kong. And yep just like young and dangerous, bit of midnight rivalary on the streets of **** kok, would be awesome :D

Good call, never thought of Hong Kong. Flying low over Happy Valley Racecourse, chasing some dudes around the streets, tearing around a jet ski in the harbour.

Good idea!!!

like others have said , i would just like different kinds of areas such as countryside ,city ...... like SA . i hated the fact that IV was all city it just got boring.

san francisco would be good , ive been there one side you have the city and if you cross the golden gate bridge you have more greener areas. they could set it in the 70s when alactraz was open

San Andreas-esque map size and locations, with more detail and more, MUCH more fun stuff to do than in IV.

Things that are essential to the next game IMO:

-More arcady vehicle handling (like SA, VC etc)
-Planes
-Better controls (user customisable)
-Better multiplayer (especially as far as racing is concerned)
-Madcap weaponry

Wasn't San Fierro in SA meant to be San Francisco? Had the trams and hills and even a large bridge as far as i remember. Making that larger and more detailed would be good.

Take out all the RPG style elements, get rid of the 'If you don't go for a pointless game of darts with this half wit he falls out with you and you can't do other stuff'
That is my biggest gripe with GTA IV.

Also make it look like burnout paradise and all would be cool

Oh yeah that **** friends system has to go but the RPG elements from San Andreas were alright.

I think the driving feel should be kept the same. Albeit a tad "clunky" if you will, i found going back to SA and VC the driving felt awful, way to sensitive and really quick. Hard to explain, but i prefer the more realistic feel in GTA4.

Yep, but in my opinion, it was the worst out of the three cities as far as I remember.

I want Las Venturas! Especially as Vegas is one of my favourite places.

whaaaaat! Nothing like getting the fighter jet and seeing how long you could weave in and out of the sky scrapers without crashing!

True. I also quite liked driving around SF, as you could go pretty fast with some big jumps.

But Carmen (the girlfriend) also says she wants to move, but to Las Venturas. I think so anyway.
