GTA V - Which console?

I've been playing this on the One X due to GTA 5 now being included in game pass - runs at 30fps and isn't an enhanced version. I haven't had a chance to play this on Pro but my assumption is that there won't be much of a difference.

I've also got GTA 5 on my PC (running on a GTX1070 and an I5 6600k), looks much better and can get 60fps - so I suspect the One X isn't being pushed at all (as far as I am aware my PC and the One X are fairly close in terms of power?).

Shame Rockstar didn't include a 60fps mode for the OneX - would have made it the clear winner versus the Pro if they had.

As above currently playing on the One X since being included with Gamepass. Doesn't push the xbox in the slightest as it runs silent which is not a bad thing and tbh even though not enhanced it still looks pretty good and doesn't distract from immersion.

There isn't a huge amount in it. The PS4 version has more ground clutter (so higher density of vegetation). Digital Foundry did a very indepth YouTube video on it at the time.

Does seem a shame that for all the billions Rockstar made, they didn't bring out an enhanced version for Pro/X.

I wish they did too - I'd definately play it all the way through on the One X if they did.

On another note I you tubed some videos yesterday, the game looks incredible on a really high end PC - there are some videos on an SLI 2080ti setup, almost looks real - I'd love to splash out on similar but just can't justify it - is there anybody on the forum who plays it at this detail.

Have to agree with whats been said, not enhanced but haven't notice a huge different between Xbox One X or PS4 Pro having played both.
I guess considering it was already a previous gen (PS3/360) title and they updated it for the base PS4/XB1 thats why we haven't seen a further enhanced one... just get GTA 6 sorted out!

Having completed this on my one X im now playing on my pc. My pc is pretty good powercolor red devil and ryzen 3600 cpu. I'm using natural vision and la roads mod and it's a whole better experience than console. Looks amazing and the fps are great. Maybe when the series X comes out you will see enhanced games and more fps on console.

I played it with 980ti SLI and a 144hz G-Sync Monitor in First person view, it looked unbelievable, hitting 100fps plus most of the time. I spent hours just driving around with the radio on. It's a real shame they've not patched it for the X, seeing how good RFD2 looks on it compared to the other console versions.

Digital Foundry actually tested the console versions and PS4 version is superior compared to Xbox One. As others have pointed out this game is pre-X/pro.

Was this tested on the original PS4 and XBox or the Pro and One X.

Would still think there would be nothing in it between the Pro and One X (does the X apply more AF and might be smoother on frame rate and quicker on load times to power advantage?)

I might be talking nonsense though lol.

Before choosing which console to go with I did some extensive research and as mentioned above the PS4 has the slight edge.

The Digital Foundry test was just on the original consoles.
Yes and it's still valid just because the game hasn't got any update for the Xbox One X/ PS4 pro.

Anyway both running 1080p/30fp, and the differences are actually kinda minimal. My point is, in hardware perspective, it really doesn't matter which version to go with. Maybe Xbox due to the faster hard drive?

I have played through the single player on both and tbh cannot say I noticed much difference. Considering it is a bumped up 360/PS3 game it looks pretty good.
